Please note that ALL delegates, including presenters, need to register for the conference. 
All fees are quoted in Canadian dollars.
Additional items, excluding registration fees, are charged 12% Harmonized Sales Tax.
Payment MUST be received by the Early Bird Rate - outstanding balances will be charged the regular rate.

Conference Banquet – 18 August:  NAOC-V will be hosting the conference banquet at the world renowned Museum of Anthropology; guests are able to tour the museum and galleries before and after dinner.  Banquet tickets are available for purchase for delegates and their accompanying guests for $55 per ticket.  - SOLD OUT

Accompanying Guest Ticket - Welcome Reception – 14 August: Delegates can register their guests via the online registration form. The $25 ticket includes admission to the Welcome Reception. - Not available on-site

Workshops:  A limited number of seats to pre and post conference workshops are available via the online registration form. 
Estimating avian abundance and occupancy with marked and unmarked individuals is offered 12 - 14 August, at $50 for students and $100 for professionals. - SOLD OUT
Bird-banding Techniques is offered 19 - 22 August, at $315 per person (which includes sessions, transportation and meals). - Closed. Not available onsite

Field Trips 19 August:  Delegates are able to choose from a variety of field trips offered after the conference.  All field trips are optional and not included in the registration fee.  For more information, please visit the Field Trips page that has full descriptions of the field trips and rates. - SOLD OUT

Conference T-Shirts:  NAOC-V is selling conference t-shirts for $12.00 via the online registration system; conference t-shirts will be available for pick up at the registration desk.  Click Here for a description of t-shirt options.  - Limited sizes and quanities will be available onsite for purchase.

Film Showing: Presentation of the award-winning film "People of a Feather" showcasing the Inuit, the eider duck, and the challenges they share adapting to changing sea ice ecosystems in Canada's Arctic. To be held on Wednesday, 15 August at the Student Union Building Auditorium. All proceeds go the the Arctic Eider Society.  Tickets are $10.00 - Tickets will be available onsite/at the door of the SUB Auditorium.

4 Day Lunch Plan:  Plan includes a hot buffet lunch Wednesday, 15 August to Saturday, 18 August at the Pacific Spirit Place Cafeteria in the Student Union Building. Conveniently the same location as breakfast, for on-campus guests. Plan can be purchased for delegates or their guests for $40.00- Closed, not available onsite.

Bird Band Jam:  An off-campus social evening of dancing and music by your colleagues on Wednesday, 15 August.  Delegates and their guests are able to attend, tickets are $12.50 per person.  Ticket price includes roundtrip fare on public transit and one drink.  8:30-midnight (approx).  Click here for more information about this great social event!  - Closed.  Tickets will be available at the door of the Biltmore.

Payment: Online payments can be completed during registration using a credit card (Visa, MasterCard or AMEX).  Delegates required to pay via wire transfer must contact the NAOC-V Conference Secretariat for payment instructions; please note that an additional fee of $8.50 is added to wire transfer payments.

Confirmation: Your registration and payment will be confirmed by email. Your registration will not be processed or confirmed until payment has been received.

Latin American registration fees are for residents in a Latin American country, defined as the region from Mexico in North America, through Central America and the Caribbean to South America.

Accommodation: Your conference registration does not include your accommodation. Cancellation and Refund Policy: Registration fees less a $35.00 administration charge will be refunded if cancellation is received in writing by 13 July, 2012. After this date, registration fees are non refundable. All refunds will be processed after the conference.
