We are excited to announce the fifth North American Ornithological Conference in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia, August 14-18, 2012, at the University of British Columbia. This large gathering will bring together academic and professional ornithologists from every sector including the research sciences, conservation organizations, management, policy and planning groups from throughout the Americas. It will serve as the joint meeting for the American Ornithologists’ Union, Association of Field Ornithologists, Bird Studies Canada, Cooper Ornithological Society, Raptor Research Foundation,  La Sociedad para el Estudio y Conservación de las Aves en México (CIPAMEX), Society of Canadian Ornithologists,  Wilson Ornithological Society, and Waterbird Society. The conference will feature four days of oral and poster presentations, multiple symposia and workshops, social events, student activities, and field trips. Exhibitors always play an important role in our ornithological meetings, and the anticipated 1200 to 1500 attendees will come seeking information about your organization, products, and services!

Exhibits will be on display in the Exhibit Hall for four full days of the meeting (exhibit set-up will be Tuesday afternoon, August 14, 2012 with break down on Saturday evening, August 18, 2012) - new/updated. To maximize exposure for exhibitors, the Exhibit Hall also will be the location for poster presentations and some evening receptions.

We welcome back our returning exhibitors and invite new partners to join us at this important meeting. A standard commercial booth will cost $1500, with a few spaces also for non-profit or artist booths at $750. In addition to the many great benefits detailed in the prospectus, the booth fee includes two complimentary meeting registrations, two invitations to the Opening Reception, advertising and exhibitor description in the meeting program, and links to your organization from the NAOC-V website.  Books sold or distributed during the meeting will be tax and duty free.

We look forward to promoting your organization at this major joint meeting of ornithologists, held for the first time in Canada. We hope you will join us!
